Game 12 - UW vs WSU - Apples to Oranges

It was hard to compare these two teams at the end of the season due to the fact that the Cougars prolific passer was out with a concussion.  They turned the ball over 6 times and were outmatched by the home team.  As a fan in the stands we had a great time.  The game was dominated by the Dawgs pressuring defense and we celebrated the fact that the Huskies were going bowling!

Game 11 - UW vs OSU - Thumping the Beavers

The Dawgs had their most dominate game of the season beating the Beavers 52 - 7.  The Beavs have a new coach are reworking their team.  They played admirably but were outmatched by both the Huskies' offense and defense.  They played a pretty mistake free game with only three penalties and one turnover but were out gained by almost 2 times the yardage.

Game 10 - UW vs ASU - The Winning Psyche

The Dawgs played well for three quarters, especially in the first half leading 17 – 3, then imploded in the 4th quarter. It was tough to watch as they started out so well. Sometimes winning is about the psyche. They have been playing great this year and are close to being one of the top tier teams in the Pac-12. Thinking positive is tough when you are on the road playing a tough team against a loud crowd. Two of the Dawgs best players had bad quarters. Jake Browning missed some balls early but was play exceptionally well. He threw three interceptions in the fourth, two really bad passes. Budda Baker missed a big tackle on the sidelines allowing a touchdown and slipped and fell in coverage allowing another one. They lose 27 – 17. They have to win their last two games to be .500 and be bowl game eligible.
